Aprilia has revealed a new, sharper version of its entry-level sportbike—the RS 125 GP Replica—designed specifically for select European markets. This special edition brings not only visual upgrades but also meaningful feature enhancements that distinguish it from the standard RS 125.
Borrowing design cues from the RS-GP race machine ridden by MotoGP talents Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi, the GP Replica makes a bold statement. Its sharp, multi-layered bodywork is decked out in striking black, accented with red and purple graphics and official Aprilia Racing sponsor logos, giving it a genuine pit-lane presence. A sleek rear seat cowl rounds off the race-bred styling, reinforcing its clean, aggressive silhouette.
Where the RS 125 GP Replica really shines is its equipment list. Riders benefit from premium features like a quick shifter, traction control (which can be switched off for more spirited riding), and dual-channel ABS developed by Bosch—all offered as standard. These additions make the GP Replica not just a looker, but also a serious contender in the lightweight sportbike segment.
At its core, the bike runs a 125cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, housed within a die-cast aluminium frame. The motor churns out a healthy 14.7bhp at 10,500rpm and 11.5Nm of torque at 8,500rpm—strong performance figures for a bike in this class. The engine has been refined to comply with the stringent Euro 5+ emission norms without sacrificing the responsive performance Aprilia is known for. That said, the RS 125 GP will be not available for Australia and New Zealand yet.
