- Aprilia RSV4 X-GP unveiled at Catalunya GP with just 30 units worldwide.
- Packs 238hp in a 165kg chassis with MotoGP-derived aerodynamics.
- Purely track-focused and billed as the ultimate track day bike.
Aprilia Racing has unveiled its latest limited-edition masterpiece, the RSV4 X-GP, at the Catalunya Grand Prix. Built to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the RS-GP’s MotoGP debut, only 30 units of this ultra-exclusive machine will be produced.
Designed with direct MotoGP DNA, the RSV4 X-GP is the most powerful RSV4 ever built – pumping out 238hp from its 1099cc V4 while tipping the scales at just 165kg. That astonishing power-to-weight ratio delivers a riding experience closer to a prototype racer than any factory derivative machine to date.

MotoGP Aero Comes to Life
The RSV4 X-GP brings MotoGP aerodynamics to the track in a way no other customer bike ever has. Alongside the trademark front wings and under-wing, it debuts leg wings and tail wings – tech seen only on Aprilia’s current RS-GP MotoGP machine. Together, these elements increase stability under braking, reduce front lift, and massively improve grip when leaned over.
The bike also features ground-effect fairings, a system that lowers air pressure between the bodywork and the tarmac when cornering, effectively pushing the bike into the track surface. The result: greater stability, precision, and grip at extreme lean angles.
At the rear, a structural carbon seat support integrates aerodynamic and chassis functions, reducing weight while increasing stiffness and rider feedback – another direct lift from MotoGP.

Engineered Like a Race Winner
The RSV4 X-GP’s heart is a 1099cc, 65° V4 tuned by Aprilia Racing to SBK specification. With a raised compression ratio, high-permeability Sprint Filter racing air filter, race-spec intake trumpets, and a MotoGP-inspired SC-Project titanium 4-2 exhaust, the motor delivers brutal top-end power and torque.
Electronics are managed by the Aprilia Racing APX ECU, offering full adjustability of traction control, engine braking, power maps, and anti-wheelie settings – all per gear. A GPS system and data-logging are built in, so riders can analyse lap performance in detail.

Track-Only Hardware
From chassis to braking, everything on the RSV4 X-GP screams “prototype for the privateer.” Highlights include:
Chassis: Aluminium twin-spar frame with MotoGP-level Öhlins FKR pressurised forks and TTX rear shock, both fully adjustable.
Brakes: Brembo GP4-MS billet calipers, 330mm T-drive discs, and Z04 pads – the same setup used in World Superbike.
Wheels & Tyres: Forged magnesium Marchesini wheels fitted with Pirelli Superbike slicks (125/70 SC-1 front, 200/65 SC-X rear).
Weight-saving details: Carbon fibre fairings, mudguards, and chain guards; billet aluminium controls and levers; titanium sprockets and lightweight chain.
Every one of the 30 bikes is finished in the official RS-GP25 MotoGP livery and individually numbered.

Not Street Legal – and That’s the Point
At €90,000 + VAT, the RSV4 X-GP isn’t a garage queen – it’s a bike built for the track only. Buyers get more than just a motorcycle: each package includes an exclusive factory handover at Aprilia Racing’s Noale HQ, a laptop preloaded with ECU software, IRC tyre warmers, RCB titanium stands, a race mat and cover, and even an NFT-based certificate of authenticity.
Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing CEO, summed it up perfectly:
“This is certainly a unique, beautiful, and extremely intriguing product capable of providing special sensations – those that only racing riders know how to take full advantage of, but which even an amateur enthusiast can clearly perceive.”

The Bottom Line
The Aprilia RSV4 X-GP is as close as you’ll get to a MotoGP bike without a factory contract. With blistering performance, MotoGP-grade aerodynamics, and exclusivity guaranteed, it’s not just Aprilia’s most advanced RSV4 – it’s the ultimate track day bike.
