All new CFMoto 750SR-R breaks cover!

  • Uses a 743cc, parallel-twin engine
  • Loaded with heaps of tech equipment
  • Could be launched in Australia and NZ by 2026

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has pulled the covers off its latest sports bike, the 750SR-R, and it’s clear they’re aiming squarely at the mid-capacity segment dominated by the likes of Yamaha’s R7 and Honda’s CBR650R.

At the heart of the new machine lies a 743cc parallel-twin engine producing a claimed 75bhp and 54lb.ft of torque. While those numbers won’t trouble superbike owners, they’re more than respectable for this class. Power is delivered via a six-speed gearbox, with an optional quickshifter for snappier gear changes.

The frame is constructed from aluminium to keep weight down, and CFMoto has partnered with high-end component suppliers to give the 750SR-R a premium edge. Fully adjustable Öhlins suspension is paired with Brembo Stylema brake calipers, suggesting serious intent when it comes to handling and stopping power.

Styling-wise, the 750SR-R wears sharp, angular bodywork that wouldn’t look out of place in a MotoGP paddock. Aerodynamic winglets add a dash of race-bike flair, and the stacked projector headlights give the front end an aggressive presence.

Electronics have been given just as much attention. Riders get a TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and multiple riding modes. There’s also traction control, cornering ABS, and cruise control as standard. Additional touches include cornering lights, keyless ignition (which lets your phone act as the key), emergency braking lights, tyre pressure monitoring, and even integration for an Insta360 camera – perfect for those who like to capture their rides.

We can expect CFMoto to launch the new 750SR-R in Australia and New Zealand by early 2026.
