All new Aprilia X250TH breaks cover!

  • Unveiled at Circuit of the Americas
  • Based on the RSV4 X-GP
  • Fitted with top-spec race components

The 2026 MotoGP round at the Circuit of the Americas has become a showcase for ultra-exclusive Italian machinery, with Aprilia unveiling the Aprilia X250TH to mark 250 years of US independence.

The reveal came shortly after Ducati introduced the Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario at the same event. Unlike the Ducati, the Aprilia is not road legal and will be limited to just 30 units worldwide, with only five allocated for customers outside the United States. Its livery reinterprets the stars and stripes of the American flag.

Aprilia X250TH

The X250TH is based on the Aprilia RSV4 X-GP unveiled in 2025, featuring MotoGP-derived carbon fibre bodywork, a ‘ground effect’ aerodynamic package, and a race-tuned 1099cc V4 engine producing a claimed 236.7bhp at 13,750rpm.

Freed from road homologation requirements, the bike incorporates full carbon brakes—similar to those used on Aprilia RS-GP machinery. The 340mm carbon rotors are significantly lighter than conventional steel discs, reducing unsprung mass, and are paired with billet aluminium Brembo calipers. Claimed dry weight stands at 165kg.

A carbon fibre support structure holds the single seat and rear aero assembly, with Aprilia stating the bike can generate up to five times more downforce than a standard Aprilia RSV4. The engine revs to 14,100rpm, with peak torque of approximately 131Nm arriving at 11,750rpm. It features an increased compression ratio, STM dry clutch, competition airbox, and a titanium double-exit exhaust system from SC Project.

Underneath, the bike uses an aluminium trellis chassis paired with fully adjustable suspension from Öhlins. Forged magnesium wheels from Marchesini are fitted, wrapped in slick tyres from Pirelli, similar to those used in the Superbike World Championship.

Each example will be delivered with a dedicated laptop for ECU management, along with track-focused accessories including a garage mat, bike cover, titanium paddock stands, and a tyre cover.
