Honda has unveiled a limited-edition John McGuinness 30th Anniversary Replica CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, with just 15 motorcycles set to be produced. The special edition marks three decades since McGuinness made his racing debut at the Isle of Man TT.
Available exclusively by invitation, the anniversary replica is based on the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP that McGuinness rode during the 2026 Senior TT and features a full race-replica livery along with an individually numbered headstock plaque.

Underneath the special paintwork, the motorcycle retains the Fireblade SP’s 999cc, liquid-cooled inline-four engine, which produces 214bhp. The specification also includes split throttle bodies, an RC213V-S-derived swingarm, HRC-developed aerodynamics, a six-axis inertial measurement unit and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust.
Honda has further equipped each anniversary replica with a selection of Genuine Accessories. These include a tall screen, seat cowl and HRC oil filler cap, while a GB Racing engine cover set, Evotech radiator guard, brake lever guard and paddock stand bobbins are also included. Metzeler tyres are fitted, with the original equipment tyres supplied as spares.

The special edition celebrates McGuinness’s long association with Honda and his remarkable record at the TT. Since making his debut in 1996, he has become the third most successful TT racer, behind Michael and Joey Dunlop, with 23 TT victories and 47 podiums between 1999 and 2019. His record also includes seven Senior TT wins.
McGuinness became the first rider to break the 130mph lap barrier at the TT in 2007. He went on to set a new lap record while taking his 23rd TT victory in 2015.
The 2026 season also marked an important milestone in McGuinness’s relationship with Honda, as he returned to the Fireblade for his 100th TT start. The rider has previously described the motorcycle as an important part of his career and its place in TT history.

This is not the first Fireblade special edition created to celebrate McGuinness’s TT career. Honda previously produced the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 100th TT Start Replica in 2022. Limited to 30 units, that motorcycle featured the livery used for McGuinness’s 100th TT start, along with gold detailing and a film-strip design depicting his TT starts on Honda machinery.
The new 30th Anniversary Replica continues that connection, but with production restricted to just 15 examples, making it an even more exclusive tribute to McGuinness’s three decades of TT racing.
