Vespa has teamed up with luxury Italian restaurant chain Gigi to create a limited-edition version of the Primavera 125, with just 100 examples set to be produced worldwide.
The collaboration was unveiled at Gigi’s Saint-Tropez restaurant, chosen as the launch venue despite the brand also operating high-end locations in destinations such as Dubai and Miami Beach. According to Vespa, the exclusive model is inspired by Gigi’s Mediterranean roots and is designed to capture the laid-back elegance of the Italian Riviera.
Finished in a distinctive sun-kissed yellow paint scheme, the Vespa x Gigi Primavera 125 features a host of bespoke styling touches that set it apart from the standard scooter. A cognac-coloured padded seat with contrasting ivory stitching adds a premium touch, while a front luggage rack fitted with leather straps is designed to carry beach essentials such as towels.

At the rear, the scooter is equipped with a chrome luggage rack supporting a woven wicker basket, further enhancing its Riviera-inspired aesthetic. Completing the look are ivory-white wheel rims wrapped in open-sidewall tyres, giving the special edition a distinctive vintage appearance.
Production will be limited to just 100 units, with two examples remaining on display throughout the summer at Gigi’s Saint-Tropez restaurant. The Gigi edition arrives less than a month after Vespa unveiled the Edizione Ottantesimo, a 1,946-unit special edition introduced to celebrate the Italian manufacturer’s 80th anniversary in 2026.
While the Vespa x Gigi Primavera 125 is primarily a lifestyle-focused collector’s model, its limited production, bespoke detailing and unique collaboration are expected to make it one of the brand’s most exclusive special editions in recent years.
