Royal Enfield has partnered with Taiwanese custom builder Rough Crafts to unveil a limited-edition Shotgun 650, with just 100 individually numbered motorcycles set to be sold globally.
The motorcycle is based on the ‘Caliber Royale’ custom build that debuted at EICMA 2025 before appearing again at Royal Enfield’s Motoverse festival later that year. Production is split equally across India, Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region, with only 25 units allocated to each market.

Mechanically, the special edition remains identical to the standard Shotgun 650. It continues to use the 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 46bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.9Nm of torque at 5,650rpm. The steel spine frame, Showa suspension, ByBre brakes and 240kg kerb weight are also unchanged.
The updates are purely cosmetic but extensive. The bike gets a Gloss Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black paint scheme separated by a gold leaf stripe with grey accents, while each fuel tank carries its unique edition number. Other highlights include a cast brass Rough Crafts collaboration badge, black bar-end mirrors, quilted leather seat, contrast-cut alloy wheels and gold-finished fork tubes.

Each buyer will also receive a numbered gold-on-black print of the original Caliber Royale concept sketch, designed and signed by Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh. The original Caliber Royale custom featured stretched proportions, a bespoke fairing, gloss and matte paintwork, gold-leaf detailing and subtle frame modifications, serving as the inspiration for this production model.

Commenting on the launch, Adrian John Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsports at Royal Enfield, said the motorcycle carries the distinctive black-and-gold design language of the Caliber Royale while bringing the craftsmanship and styling of the original custom build to a wider audience. Registrations have opened through Royal Enfield’s official website, with sales taking place over four days across different global regions.
