BMW Motorrad has introduced a limited-run collection of brightly coloured S1000 models, giving the S1000RR, S1000R and S1000XR eye-catching new paint schemes that are guaranteed to stand out. Finished in Star Bright Pink, Speed Yellow and Riviera Blue, the exclusive motorcycles will be sold in extremely limited numbers exclusively in the UK.
Leading the range is the fully faired S1000RR, with just 15 examples being offered. Buyers can choose between 10 Speed Yellow motorcycles and five finished in Star Bright Pink, all based on the bike’s Sport specification.
The naked S1000R is even rarer, with only six units available. Five are painted in Speed Yellow, while a single Star Bright Pink example will be produced, making it one of the rarest motorcycles in BMW Motorrad UK’s current line-up. Adventure sportbike fans haven’t been left out either, with the S1000XR receiving an exclusive Riviera Blue finish. Just 10 examples of the long-distance tourer will be offered, all based on the well-equipped TE specification.
The colourful machines aren’t just about the paintwork. The S1000RR comes fitted with BMW’s Performance Package and Pillion Package, along with a tinted windscreen to further distinguish it from the standard model.
The S1000R adds a sports exhaust, bar-end mirrors, a pillion package, BMW Teleservices and a tinted screen, while the S1000XR TE receives a sports silencer, LED auxiliary fog lights, BMW Teleservices and a tinted screen as standard. The exclusive paint finishes command a premium over the standard retail prices, reflecting their limited production numbers and additional equipment.
While the vibrant colour schemes certainly make a bold statement, these special editions are currently exclusive to the UK market, with no indication that BMW Motorrad plans to offer them in New Zealand or other international markets.
