Husqvarna updates motocross range for 2027

Husqvarna has unveiled its 2027 motocross range, introducing nine competition-focused motorcycles that span everything from the entry-level TC 50 to the flagship FC 450. The launch comes shortly after the brand confirmed it would transition away from a full factory effort in the SuperMotocross series and instead focus on supporting independent teams from 2027 onward.

Despite the changes to its racing programme, Husqvarna is clearly continuing to invest in its production motocross line-up. The new range combines the company’s established off-road technology with updated styling inspired by its Swedish heritage.

A major visual change for 2027 is the adoption of white powder-coated frames across the range, replacing the previous chromium-molybdenum finish. The new bodywork has also been redesigned to create a cleaner and more contemporary look, with Husqvarna describing the styling as a reflection of the brand’s ongoing evolution.

Beneath the fresh graphics, the motorcycles continue to use the same core chassis and suspension technology found on the outgoing models. WP XACT suspension remains standard equipment, with the latest XACT forks and XACT PDS rear shock carrying over into the 2027 machines. Husqvarna has also retained several race-proven components from specialist suppliers, including Brembo brakes, ProTaper handlebars, Twin Air filtration and ODI grips.

The two-stroke models continue to use throttle body injection (TBI), while the four-stroke range retains its suite of rider-assistance electronics. These include a quick-shifter, traction control, launch control and dual engine maps that can be selected via the multifunctional map switch.

The full-size 2027 line-up includes the two-stroke TC 125, TC 250 and TC 300, alongside the four-stroke FC 250, FC 350 and FC 450. Husqvarna has also updated its youth racing machines, with the TC 50, TC 65 and TC 85 forming the mini-bike range. The TC 85 remains available in both 17/14-inch and 19/16-inch wheel configurations to suit different rider sizes.
