2026 MV Agusta models to get full electronics package as standard

  • To feature on three and four-cylinder range
  • No additional charges for package

MV Agusta has confirmed that its full electronics package will be fitted as standard across all 2026 models, promising customers “no hidden costs, no post-purchase upgrades, and no compromises.”

From 2026 onward, every new MV Agusta, whether from its three-cylinder or four-cylinder range, will leave the factory with the complete suite of rider aids activated at no additional charge. The move runs counter to a growing industry trend where manufacturers install the hardware as standard but require customers to pay extra to unlock certain electronic features via software.

KTM has been one of the brands most associated with this unlock-on-demand model. While trial periods and “try before you buy” options are sometimes offered, the approach has faced criticism from riders who feel core performance features should not sit behind an additional paywall.

Explaining its position, MV Agusta stated in a press release that advanced electronics are “not optional extras, but an integral part of the modern riding experience,” adding that all systems are factory-fitted as original equipment and fully integrated into the motorcycle from day one.

As a result, every 2026 model will come equipped with a six-axis IMU, Cornering ABS, three preset riding modes plus a fully Custom mode, a quickshifter, eight-level Traction Control and Front Lift Control. That is only part of the package. Engine Brake Control, adjustable engine response, gas sensitivity settings, selectable maximum torque maps (Low, Medium and High), an RPM limiter and cruise control are also included as standard.

The Custom riding mode plays a central role in the system. Riders can upload a personalised engine map directly from their smartphone, adjusting the engine and chassis behaviour to suit their preferences. On models fitted with electronic suspension, suspension parameters can also be altered. The custom map can be named, modified and fine-tuned, even while riding, giving owners a more adaptable and individualised setup.

The 2026 range will also feature either a 7-inch or 5.5-inch TFT display, along with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, reinforcing the brand’s focus on delivering a fully equipped, technology-led package straight from the showroom floor.
