Harley-Davidson unveils new Pan America 1250 Limited

  • Fitted with extensive list of options
  • Continues with the 128Nm-producing V-twin engine
  • No word about the global launch timeline yet

Harley-Davidson has revealed a lightly revised version of its flagship adventure bike, introducing the new Pan America 1250 Limited. Now in its fourth generation since the model’s debut in 2021, the Limited sits as the most comprehensively equipped Pan America to date. It also features the lowest ground clearance yet at 154mm.

Rather than a full redesign, Harley-Davidson has opted to bundle the Pan America with virtually every available factory option. The result is a bike that remains mechanically familiar but gains a significant amount of equipment, pushing total weight up by 36kg to 299kg.

As standard, the Limited comes fitted with a full luggage setup offering 120 litres of storage, made up of a top box and hard panniers. All are finished in matte black powder coating, matching the bike’s wider metalwork for a cohesive, understated look.

Borrowing from the Pan America ST introduced in 2025, the Limited also gains a quickshifter, allowing clutchless gear changes. Both the gear lever and rear brake pedal are adjustable, letting riders tailor the setup to suit their riding style or boot size.

Protection is a key focus, with a heavy-duty exhaust guard, aluminium skid plate and radiator guard all included as standard. These components are also finished in black, reinforcing the Limited’s rugged, adventure-ready appearance. The bike rolls on black aluminium wheels with steel spokes, paired with tubeless, road-oriented tyres. A tyre pressure monitoring system comes fitted and can be accessed through the 6.8-inch TFT display.

Electronics continue to play a major role. An adaptive ride height system is standard, lowering the seat height from 840mm while riding to 815mm when stationary, making this the most accessible Pan America so far. The system is designed to make stopping, mounting and dismounting easier, particularly when carrying luggage or a passenger.

Riders have access to nine ride modes, including Rain, Road, Sport and Off-Road, along with two configurable custom modes. Suspension duties are handled by 47mm inverted forks, supported by an adaptive suspension system that uses onboard sensors to assess terrain and adjust preload automatically. Manual adjustment remains available, either directly or via the bike’s preset riding modes.

Power comes from the familiar liquid-cooled V-twin engine, unchanged from previous versions, producing 128Nm of torque at 6,750rpm and 158bhp at 8,750rpm.

With its expanded standard equipment and increased accessibility, the Pan America 1250 Limited positions itself as Harley-Davidson’s most feature-rich adventure bike yet, targeting riders who want a fully loaded, touring-ready package straight from the showroom.
