- Gets MotoGP-inspired livery
- Uses a 457cc, parallel-twin engine
- NZ and AUS launch is likely
Aprilia has launched a new special version of its RS 457, called the RS 457 GP Replica. This edition borrows styling cues from the brand’s MotoGP machine and adds a few upgrades, making the lightweight supersport even more appealing to younger riders and new enthusiasts.

The bike comes in a bold black MotoGP-inspired livery, finished in both gloss and matte tones. It also carries official sponsor-style graphics similar to those seen on the RS-GP race bike. A darker finish has been applied to the aluminium frame, swingarm, and steering plate, giving the whole motorcycle a sharper, more premium look.
Aprilia has added a few performance-focused extras as well. The GP Replica gets a quickshifter for clutchless upshifts, upgraded front brake pads for stronger stopping power, and a single-seat rear cowl to emphasise its race-bike attitude.

Mechanically, the GP Replica is unchanged from the standard RS 457. It still uses the same 457cc, parallel-twin engine, known for its smooth power delivery, and the bike continues to impress with its light and confident handling. Overall, the RS 457 GP Replica adds a clear touch of MotoGP flair to Aprilia’s already popular entry-level supersport.
Stay tuned as we let you know whether the special edition Aprilia RS 457 will make it to New Zealand and Australia…
