Husqvarna has announced updates to its flagship FS 450 supermoto for the 2026 model year, revealing new technical tweaks, minor refinements, and a production start date set for October 2025.
The latest FS 450 might not look dramatically different at first glance, but Husqvarna has been busy refining what was already one of the most capable track supermotos on the market. For 2026, the machine receives a revised fuel injection system, a modified silencer, and redesigned airbox inserts, all aimed at reducing noise output to meet stricter racing regulations.

There’s also a small but clever addition in the form of a threaded radiator cap, allowing riders to check coolant levels more conveniently, a detail that hints at the brand’s race paddock attention to usability.
Under the bodywork sits Husqvarna’s familiar liquid-cooled 450cc single-cylinder engine, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The motor is equipped with launch control, traction control, and a quickshifter as standard, while riders can toggle between two distinct engine maps via the handlebar-mounted Map Select Switch, even while on the move.
Connectivity also takes a step forward. Using the optional Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), the FS 450 can link to the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app, letting riders fine-tune throttle response, traction settings, and engine characteristics to suit their individual riding style.

True to Husqvarna’s premium DNA, the FS 450 continues to feature high-spec running gear. Braking is handled by Brembo components, with a 310mm front disc and a 220mm rear setup delivering serious stopping power. A set of ProTaper handlebars and ODI grips come standard, ensuring a familiar, competition-grade cockpit feel.
Suspension duties are managed by WP XACT components, with a Closed Cartridge front fork and a rear shock that benefits from CFD-optimised piston design and tool-free adjusters. Travel measures 283mm up front and 266mm at the rear, perfectly tuned for the demands of supermoto circuits. Rolling on Metzeler Racetec SM K1 tyres, the FS 450 offers a seat height of 894mm and 281mm of ground clearance, keeping the ergonomics race-ready but manageable.
