- Gets new colour options
- Gets higher-spec SE model
- Global launch timeline yet to be known
Kawasaki’s summer refresh for 2026 keeps rolling, and now it’s the Ninja 1100SX range getting the treatment, with new colours, mechanical upgrades, and a sharper SE spec.
It began earlier this year with the Versys 650 receiving fresh paint, followed by the Versys 1100 S and SE models getting new shades. Now the spotlight is on the 1100SX sport-tourer, and Kawasaki hasn’t held back. The standard Ninja 1100SX gains a Metallic Brilliant Golden Black/Metallic Carbon Grey combo, while the SE model gets two bolder options: Metallic Deep Blue/Metallic Diablo Black, and Emerald Blazed Green/Metallic Diablo Black.

But it’s not just cosmetics. The latest 1100SX gained an extra 100cc over the 2024 model, and both the standard and SE are available in three ‘Edition’ flavours: Tourer, Performance, and Performance Tourer. The SE earns its premium badge with Brembo M4.32 callipers, a Brembo master cylinder, steel-braided lines, and an Öhlins S46 rear shock, upgrades that the standard version doesn’t get.
Performance figures remain identical across both trims: 134 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 83.3 lb ft at 7,600 rpm. Suspension duties up front are handled by a 41 mm inverted fork with full adjustability for compression, rebound, and preload.
We are yet to know when the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX range will make its way to Australia and New Zealand. Stay tuned!
