CFMoto has updated their minibike, the XO Papio Racer for 2025, with cosmetic changes that make it look cooler than before.
The new Papio Racer adorns a sort of mini sportsbiike styling with the twin headlamps and nose cowl signature of the current model. It also comes with a pill-shaped addition to its bodywork that is similar to the first-gen Suzuki GSX-R750.
CFMoto have also included full fairing side panels that flow into the bellypan and completely enclose the engine. The bike also gets winglets integrated into its sides, but these are only for cosmetic purposes rather than maintaining downforce on a machine capable of 90kmph. Now, the seat, tail section and tank are borrowed from the current-gen Papio, the handlebar is mounted on risers to make them higher. It also gets side extensions on the upper cowl for better airflow to the rider.
Type approval documents suggest no increase in weight and the new CFMoto Papio claims a kerb weight of 114kg. Powering the Papio is a 124cc single-cylinder engine equipped with six-speed transmission. Fitted on to a simple steel backbone chassis, it offers 9.27 bhp and 9.2Nm of torque.
While there is no word about its launch timeline, we can expect CFMoto to introduce the new Papio in Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2025.
