The Ducati Multistrada V4 is the Italian manufacturer’s flagship adventure motorcycle that has been updated for 2025. The range includes the standard V4, V4S and the V4 Pikes Peak.
For the new model year, the Multistrada V4 gets a number of upgrades to its electronics, chassis and suspension. It also gets a redesigned front end, that is only slightly different from the previous model. The headlamp and taillamp are new as well with the rear getting a function called the Ducati Brake Light Evo that blinks at speeds lesser than 15kmph.
While the 1158cc, V4 Granturismo engine remains the same with 170bhp and 124Nm, the rear cylinder deactivation not only works at stops but also at low riding speeds. Further, Ducati has taken off 2kg of unsprung mass with the newly designed wheels. In the electronics department the 2025 Multistrada V4 range gets a bump detection feature in the DSS Evo suspension setup and a Wet Riding mode too.
That said, the Multistrada V4S is adorned with an automatic lowering device that adjusts the preload at the rear at speeds below 10kmph. The bike automatically resets to its previously set preload when it crosses 50kmph. Then there is the Multistrada Pikes Peak that comes with Ohlins suspension and Race Riding mode (instead of the Enduro Mode), a 17-inch front wheel and single-sided swingarm.
With the European market getting the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 range in October 2024, we can expect the motorcycles to make their way to Australia and New Zealand by early 2025.
