Triumph has announced the 2024 Tiger 900 range, which includes the Tiger 900 GT, Tiger 900 GT Pro, and Tiger 900 Rally Pro, with each bike providing more of what the company says its customers have grown to love about the Tiger 900.
The new Tiger 900 range features a significant upgrade, with higher peak torque and better fuel economy from the T-plane-equipped triple, while there are new safety features, new class-leading 7-inch TFT instrumentation, a new rider seat, and a damped handlebar mounting system to provide more long-distance comfort.
The liquid-cooled 888cc inline-Triple with DOHC and 4 valves per cylinder has been further developed for the new Tiger 900 range, resulting in a claimed power increase of 13%, taking the Tiger 900 from 93.7 hp to 106.5 hp. Triumph says this has been achieved while gaining more torque and tractability at low rpm, with 90Nm produced at 6,850rpm (up from 87Nm).
The new Tiger 900 range also boasts a claimed 9% increase in fuel economy, which means less emissions and more range. With a 20-litre fuel tank, the new Tiger 900 line is now capable of 4.7l/100km, giving an estimated 425km range.
The new Tiger 900 range also comes with new safety features, such as cornering ABS and traction control. The braking is now linked, with a small amount of rear brake being applied when the rider uses the front, and an ingenious feature is the introduction of marker lights where the indicators remain on at a low level to provide greater visibility. There’s up to six riding modes, cruise control, heated grips and seats, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. There’s also a new 7-inch TFT instrument display, which is compatible with the My Triumph connectivity system, allowing riders to access phone calls, music, navigation, and GoPro control, with a USB-C charging point mounted to the left of the screen.
The new Tiger 900 range also offers more comfort for the rider, with a new seat that is more supportive and adjustable, and a new handlebar mounting system that reduces vibration and fatigue. For 2024, Tiger 900 range also has new colour options, such as Carnival Red and Sapphire Black for the GT Pro, and Matt Khaki Green and Sapphire Black for the Rally Pro.
