- Both get new colours for 2026
- No changes to features or engine
- Could be introduced in AUS and NZ soon
Triumph Motorcycles have introduced the 2026 Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X for international markets, and we can expect them to make it to Australia and New Zealand soon.

New for 2026 on the small-capacity Triumphs are swanky new colour options. For the Scrambler 400 X, the British marque has adorned it with Baja Orange, much like its older 1200cc sibling. It sports an orange fuel tank with a silver stripe in the centre, while the rest of the bodywork is done up in black. The silver fender and golden USD forks add to its appeal.

There is the Speed 400 that is now offered in Pearl Metallic White and Phantom Black. The option of the two colour combination is highlighted with a golden pinstripe. Now, other than this, both Triumph 400cc motorcycles remain the same as before.
Both use a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. While the Scrambler 400 offers higher ground clearance thanks to its purpose, it also gets dual-purpose tyres, unlike the road tyres on the Speed 400.

In terms of features, both come with ride-by-wire throttle, switchable dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. There’s also a Type-C charging port that is offered as standard.
