2025 Moto Morini X-Cape 1200 details leaked

  • New X-Cape 1200 could be launched soon
  • Updates leaked online
  • No word about global launch timeline

Moto Morini is set to roll out a major upgrade to its flagship adventure motorcycle with the soon-to-be-launched 2025 X-Cape 1200. While the official debut is just around the corner, several key specifications of the upcoming model have already surfaced online.

The Italian manufacturer has quietly updated its official website, teasing the arrival of the new X-Cape 1200 with a “Coming Soon” banner and revealing its trio of colour options—Arctic White, Energy Red, and Black Viper. The revamped ADV is expected to appeal to riders looking for performance and style wrapped in a versatile touring package.

At the heart of the X-Cape 1200 sits a powerful 1,187cc V-twin engine, delivering an impressive 125bhp at 9,000rpm and 104.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. According to Moto Morini, this setup enables the bike to reach speeds more than 225kmph, making it well-suited for long-distance rides across high-speed routes, particularly in Europe.

Underneath the aggressive design lies a newly engineered chassis that blends steel and aluminium for optimal strength and reduced weight. Suspension duties are handled by a fully adjustable inverted front fork with 180mm of travel, matched by a rear monoshock with progressive linkage offering the same wheel travel.

The braking system has been upgraded as well, featuring Brembo components. Up front, the X-Cape 1200 gets twin 320mm discs with four-piston monoblock callipers, while the rear sports a single 280mm disc paired with a two-piston calliper. Safety tech includes Bosch cornering ABS, and although not officially confirmed, the presence of an IMU suggests the inclusion of lean-sensitive traction control.

Pricing details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with the motorcycle set to hit UK dealerships shortly after. Unfortunately, Moto Morini has not revealed its global launch timeline yet.
