- Honda XL750 updated for 2025
- Gets the same 755cc engine
- Could be launched in AUS and NZ soon
Honda has officially revealed the 2025 Transalp XL750 for global markets. The adventure-touring motorcycle receives a range of upgrades aimed at boosting long-distance comfort and all-around rideability.
One of the most striking updates is the redesigned front end, which now sports dual projector headlamps. These not only enhance the bike’s aggressive styling but are also intended to deliver better nighttime visibility. The windscreen has also been revised—it’s now crafted from Durabio, a sustainable, bio-based plastic, and features a central air intake duct to help divert airflow and reduce rider fatigue over extended journeys.

In terms of mechanical improvements, Honda has fine-tuned both the front and rear suspension systems. These revisions are designed to offer a smoother, more controlled ride across varying road surfaces. However, the upgrades have resulted in a slight increase in kerb weight, which now stands at 210kg—2kg more than the previous model.
Powering the 2025 Transalp is the familiar 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which delivers 90bhp and 75Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. For the latest model, Honda has optimised the fuel injection system to enhance throttle response, particularly in the lower and mid-range revs.

A new Pearl Deep Mud Gray paint scheme debuts for the Japanese market, joining the existing Ross White and Graphite Black colour options. While the updated Transalp hasn’t yet been confirmed for India, a launch is anticipated later this year.
In global markets, the Honda Transalp XL750 rivals the Triumph Tiger 900, BMW F 900 GS, and Suzuki V-Strom 800DE—each positioned as midweight contenders in the adventure touring segment.g segment. We can expect Honda to bring in the updated motorcycle to Australia and New Zealand by the end of the year.
