Zero Motorcycles is celebrating 20 years in business with a limited-edition version of its SR/F electric roadster. The SR/F 20th Anniversary Limited Edition features a Jet Black and gold colour scheme, along with carbon-fibre and billet components that set it apart from the standard motorcycle.
Production will be limited to just 40 motorcycles worldwide, with 20 allocated to North America and another 20 destined for Europe. The bikes will be sold through participating Zero dealerships while stocks last.
The special edition is based on the SR/F, which remains one of Zero’s fastest road-going motorcycles. Its Z-Force 75-10 electric motor produces around 110bhp and 190Nm of peak torque, while Zero claims a maximum city riding range of up to 283km.

Much of the anniversary model’s visual identity comes from its upgraded components. Carbon-fibre front and rear mudguards are joined by smoked indicators, black headlight wings and a black aluminium flyscreen. The darker finish continues with billet mirrors, bar ends, brake components and reservoir caps, while gold detailing and dedicated 20th Anniversary graphics provide contrast.
The SR/F’s charging hardware remains unchanged, with a 6.6kW onboard charger fitted as standard. Zero claims the battery can be charged from 20 to 80 per cent in around 1.4 hours using a Level 2 charger. An optional rapid charger can cut that time to approximately 43 minutes.
The milestone marks two decades since Zero’s beginnings in 2006, when engineer Neal Saiki started developing electric motorcycles in a garage near Santa Cruz, California. Since then, the company has expanded from lightweight electric off-road machines into a broader range that includes street motorcycles, the SR/F and SR/S performance models, the DSR/X adventure bike, as well as the smaller X Line and LS1 electric scooter.
