Triumph Bonneville Bobber TFC

To start off with, the motorcycle gets a gloss carbon fibre bodywork complete with a swanky gold and black two-tone paint finish.  It is also adorned with hand-painted marble gold highlights on the fuel tank and side panels. What’s more, the underbelly also has been hand signed by the artist that painted it! Then there is the gold fork lowers, billet machined engine cover badges, carbon fiber mudguard mounts and embossed leather seat…and a gold chain. Moreover, the rear taillights and now integrated into the indicators, and up front there is a 19-inch wheel and clip-on bars for good measure.

In addition to the fancy exterior is the twin slash-cut Akrapovic exhaust pipes and a retuned engine map for the 1200cc parallel-twin. It is claimed to be more aggressive with 76.9bhp coming in 100rpm lower at 6000rpm. Even the 106Nm of torque comes in at 3750rpm rather than at 4000rpm on the standard Bonneville Bobber.

Triumph has also added a new Sport riding mode and traction control to the Bobber TFC in addition to the Road and Rain modes. You also get twin, four-piston Brembo M50 radial calipers with 310mm discs and a Brembo master cylinder. Damping is done by Ohlins 43mm NIX 30 USD forks with full adjustability and 90mm of travel. For the rear, the Triumph Bonneville Bobber uses a single shoc with preload and rebound adjustability and 77mm of travel.

We expect Triumph to launch the Bobber TFC in New Zealand and Australia sometime early next year in limited numbers, ofcourse.
