Royal Enfield Meteor 350 crosses 600,000 units milestone

  • 600,000 units sold since November 2020
  • Sold in over 60 countries
  • Uses a 349cc, single-cylinder engine

Royal Enfield has hit a major global milestone with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which has now crossed 600,000 units sold worldwide since its debut in November 2020.

The Meteor 350 quickly became a key pillar in Royal Enfield’s modern lineup. It was also the first model built on the brand’s J-series platform, marking a step forward in refinement and rideability for its single-cylinder motorcycles.

Powered by a 349cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, the Meteor was designed with ease of use in mind. Its smooth, tractable performance suits both daily commuting and relaxed highway cruising, while its comfortable ergonomics and predictable handling have made it accessible to a wide range of riders, from beginners to experienced motorcyclists.

Demand hasn’t just been strong in India. The Meteor has found solid traction across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, SAARC markets and Europe, helping push it past the 600,000-unit mark and highlighting the growing global appeal of Royal Enfield’s mid-capacity offerings.

The bike has also picked up industry recognition along the way, including the 2021 Grand Prix award for Best Modern Classic over 250cc, further reinforcing its position in the segment. In terms of features, the Meteor blends classic cruiser styling with modern touches. It comes equipped with a digi-analogue instrument cluster, Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation system, LED lighting, premium switchgear, a USB Type-C charging port, adjustable levers and an assist-and-slip clutch.

Now sold in over 60 countries and backed by a network of more than 1,000 dealerships, the Meteor 350 continues to play a central role in Royal Enfield’s global growth, while also serving as an easy entry point into the brand’s relaxed cruising philosophy.
