Royal Enfield’s new Himalayan Mana Black has launched, adding adventure-ready accessories and a stealth finish. Pre-orders open now in NZ ahead of January 2026 arrival.

Royal Enfield has taken the wraps off the latest version of its hugely popular Himalayan, launching the new Himalayan Mana Black at a press event in Australia. Kiwi riders can pre-order now, with the first shipment arriving in New Zealand from early January 2026.

The Mana Black builds on the proven platform of the Himalayan 450 — a bike we’ve tested extensively and praised for its rugged simplicity, approachable performance, and genuine adventure capability. This new variant takes that foundation and adds the kinds of accessories and upgrades that most adventure riders would end up fitting anyway.

Inspired by the brutal, high-altitude landscape of Mana Pass, one of the highest motorable roads on the planet, the Mana Black arrives dressed in a stealthy all-black finish with contrasting grey accents. Royal Enfield has also given it a tougher, more expedition-ready stance: rally-style mudguards, hand guards, and wire-spoked tubeless wheels now come factory-fitted — a welcome addition for riders exploring NZ’s varied terrain.

The Himalayan Mana Black comes as a near turn-key adventure machine, requiring minimal aftermarket mods before heading off-road or loading up for multi-day trips. Mechanically, it’s the same trusted 450 platform, but dressed and equipped for real-world adventure riding straight from the crate.

Royal Enfield has confirmed NZ pricing at $10,490 + ORC, keeping the Himalayan firmly positioned as one of the most affordable, capable adventure bikes in the market. As with all Royal Enfield models sold locally, it comes with a 3-Year Factory-Backed Warranty and 3-Year Roadside Assist Package for added peace of mind.

Kryptonite lock-homepage

With supply strictly limited for the first shipment, riders keen to get their hands on the Mana Black should move quickly. Based on early demand for previous Himalayan releases, this special-edition variant is expected to sell fast.
