New Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer DGR Edition: In Images

Triumph Motorcycles has revealed a one-off Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition, created as the headline Gentlefolk Prize for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026. Let’s take a look at the details of this special edition and what makes it special.

Based on the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer, this DGR Edition has been built as a unique custom, featuring bespoke materials, styling tweaks, and authentication details that set it apart from the standard model.

One of the standout features is the Harris Tweed seat, made using authenticated hand-woven fabric from Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. The bike also gets a special “15 Years of Dapper” anniversary graphic, a numbered board, and its own certificate of authenticity, reinforcing its one-off status. The paint scheme combines Competition Green and Aluminium Silver, with matching wheels and a colour-coded headlight bowl.

Underneath, the hardware is equally premium. Fully adjustable 43mm upside-down forks from Marzocchi are paired with twin rear shocks from Öhlins featuring external reservoirs. Braking is handled by twin 320mm front discs with Brembo Stylema radial calipers, supported by a Brembo MCS lever and cornering ABS. Tyres come in the form of Metzeler Racetec RR K3 units.

Power comes from Triumph’s Bonneville 1200 parallel-twin engine, producing 103.5bhp and 112Nm of torque. With a rev limit set at 8,000rpm and a 270-degree firing order, the engine is tuned to deliver strong, immediate throttle response in keeping with the bike’s café racer character.

As a one-off build tied to the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, this Speed Twin 1200 DGR Edition is less about volume and more about craftsmanship, exclusivity, and celebrating the culture surrounding modern classic motorcycles.
