MotoGP to host Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup in 2026

  • To commence at the Circuit of the Americas in 2026
  • Will appear at 6 MotoGP weekends

Harley-Davidson has teamed up with MotoGP to launch an international series in 2026, taking Bagger racing onto the world stage. The move builds on the success of the King of the Baggers championship in the United States, where heavily modified Harley-Davidson Road Glides go head-to-head with Indian Challengers around short, technical circuits under the MotoAmerica banner.

Next year, the new Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will appear at six MotoGP weekends, starting with the Circuit of the Americas in the United States from March 27-29. From there, the series will travel to Mugello in Italy and Assen in the Netherlands, before heading to Silverstone in the UK in early August. The penultimate round will take place at Motorland Aragón in Spain later that month, with the finale set for Austria’s Red Bull Ring in mid-September.

The idea was first teased during the Le Mans MotoGP round in France earlier this year, but this is the first time full details have been revealed. Teams and sponsors are now being invited to get involved ahead of the inaugural season. Harley-Davidson already has an established presence in the discipline through its American factory team, which includes James Rispoli, Kyle Wyman, and former MotoGP rider Bradley Smith. Their involvement hints at the level of competition fans can expect when the series makes its debut on the global stage
