- Multistrada V4 to be first model with the program
- Also includes different component options
Ducati has launched a new factory-backed customisation initiative known as Ducati Factory Made, with the Multistrada V4 becoming the first model to offer the service.
The programme allows customers to specify selected colours, finishes and factory-approved accessories at the point of purchase, with the motorcycle assembled to that exact configuration on the production line in Borgo Panigale. Rather than relying on dealer-installed extras or post-delivery repainting, all approved changes are integrated during the build process before the bike leaves the factory.

Initially available in Europe, Factory Made focuses on the Multistrada V4 family, though the scheme is expected to expand to additional models over time. Buyers can choose from an extended palette of paint finishes and liveries, grouped into different design themes. These range from classic Ducati red and gloss options to matt finishes and more aggressive “Performance” and Ducati Corse-inspired visuals.

The initiative also incorporates selected paint options from Automobili Lamborghini. Colours typically reserved for Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme, including Viola Pasifae and Verde Scandal, can now be specified through the Multistrada configurator. While the two Italian brands have collaborated before, this marks the first time Lamborghini paint finishes have been integrated directly into Ducati’s standard production ordering system.
Beyond aesthetics, the programme covers a range of functional components. Customers can select between cast, forged or spoked wheels, specify colour details for elements such as the rear subframe and brake callipers, and adjust ergonomic settings, including rider and passenger seat heights. Suspension height options are also available, allowing the bike to be tailored more closely to individual requirements before delivery.

Existing accessory packs, Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech and Enduro, remain available and can be incorporated into the same factory build. The scheme also applies to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and RS variants, although modifications on those models are primarily limited to ergonomic and select cosmetic adjustments.
Ducati Factory Made is now live via Ducati’s online configurator. Customers can finalise their specification digitally and forward it to an authorised dealer for pricing, with the motorcycle then built to order from the outset.
