DGR 2026 Registrations Open with One-Off Triumph Speed Twin Up for Grabs

  • Registrations open for 2026 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (May 17)
  • One-off Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition up for grabs
  • Open-entry prize draw gives every rider a chance to win

From Auckland to Invercargill, Kiwi riders will once again suit up and ride for a cause. And this year, riders could win a very special Triumph Speed Twin.

Registrations have officially opened for the 2026 edition of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, with Triumph Motorcycles unveiling a unique one-off prize bike to mark the occasion.

Set to take place worldwide on Sunday, May 17, the annual event brings together riders in classic and vintage-inspired style to raise funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research, supporting Movember.

For 2026, Triumph has created a bespoke Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition, which will be awarded as the headline “Gentlefolk Prize” — a one-off machine built specifically to celebrate 15 years of the global ride.

A One-Off Built for the Occasion

Based on the Speed Twin 1200 platform, the DGR Edition blends classic café racer styling with premium components and unique detailing.

Standout features include:

Bespoke Harris Tweed® seat, handwoven in the Outer Hebrides

“15 Years of Dapper” anniversary graphics and number board

Clip-on handlebars and single-seat café racer layout

Exclusive certificate of authenticity

The bike also features high-end hardware including fully adjustable Marzocchi forks, Öhlins rear suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes and Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres, backed by Triumph’s 1200cc Bonneville twin producing 105PS and 112Nm.

A Prize Anyone Can Win

In a notable shift for 2026, the Gentlefolk Prize will be awarded via a random draw — meaning any participant worldwide has an equal chance of winning the custom Triumph.

To qualify, riders must:

Complete their DGR profile

Make a personal donation

Donate to another participant (“Pay It Forward”)

Raise at least USD $250

Once completed, entrants are automatically included in the draw.

Alongside the one-off prize bike, Triumph will also award modern classic motorcycles to the top three fundraisers globally.

A Global Movement Continues to Grow

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride continues to expand its global reach, with 2025 seeing more than 127,000 riders take part across 108 countries, raising $7.6 million USD for Movember.

Triumph has been the official motorcycle partner since 2014 and remains heavily involved in driving participation and fundraising.

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer at Triumph Motorcycles, said:

“This is our 13th year as the official motorcycle partner of The DGR, bringing riders together in style, community, and purpose. Last year’s event achieved a remarkable impact, raising an incredible $7.6M USD for Movember, bringing the total raised over the last 15 years of The DGR to $60.37M USD.”

“For 2026, we wanted to create a motorcycle that is a tribute to the spirit of The DGR community. This oneoff Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition is a celebration of the craft and character of the riders who make The DGR what it is, and this year, every rider who completes the steps to enter the Gentlefolk Competition has an equal chance to win, not just the riders who can raise the most money. That’s a really exciting change that I hope will spur even more riders on, to sign up and take part.”

Team Triumph and Global Ambassadors

Riders can also choose to join Team Triumph, connecting with a global community of modern classic enthusiasts while gaining access to exclusive prize draws.

A number of international ambassadors have already signed on for 2026, helping promote participation and fundraising efforts worldwide.

Mark Hawwa, Founder and Director of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, said:

“2026 marks a significant milestone for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride as we celebrate our 15th annual ride. That’s 15 years of bringing together a global community united by style, purpose, and a shared commitment to men’s health.”

“The impact of DGR speaks to our community’s passion and generosity, and it continues to inspire us every year to go further. Triumph Motorcycles’ support has been instrumental in that journey.”

New Zealand riders are expected to once again turn out in strong numbers, with DGR events traditionally held across the country from Auckland through to the South Island. The ride has become a staple on the local calendar, blending classic machinery, sharp style and a strong community focus, while raising vital funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.
