- 2025 BMW CE04 unveiled
- Gets new trims and features
- Could be launched in AUS and NZ soon
BMW’s futuristic CE 04 electric scooter, first launched in 2021, is getting a fresh round of updates for 2025. The BMW CE 04 continues to evolve as it enters the next model year with more customisation and new tech.
For 2025, the CE 04 will be available in three distinct trims: Basic, Avantgarde, and Exclusive, with the top-tier model featuring more eye-catching styling and premium add-ons. Across all trims, buyers will also be able to equip optional extras such as a centre stand, heated grips, tyre pressure monitoring, and more.
Under the sleek bodywork, the CE 04 maintains its claimed nominal output of 20.1bhp, rising to 41.6bhp at peak performance. Charging has been improved with the optional quick charger, allowing a 20% to 80% top-up in just 45 minutes. However, a full charge from flat without the fast-charging option will still take around 4 hours and 20 minutes.

The Exclusive trim really lives up to its name, bringing features like hand guards, a front windscreen, a laser-engraved rear wheel, and heated seats and grips—though the latter can also be specced on the lower trims. These enhancements aim to improve comfort and protection for riders tackling unpredictable urban conditions.
BMW has also expanded the scooter’s available tech packages. New options include an emergency E-Call system and a dynamic package that adds adaptive headlights, cornering ABS, traction control, and a sport riding mode.
Built with city life in mind, the CE 04 delivers an estimated range of 80.8 miles (130km) and comes with three standard riding modes: Eco, Rain, and Road. Riders will stay connected and informed via a large 10.25-inch colour TFT display, which is now standard across the range.
With its blend of forward-thinking tech, practical range, and bold styling, the 2025 BMW CE 04 is positioned to remain a standout in the growing electric scooter segment.
