BMW Motorrad has taken the wraps off the G310 RR Limited Edition. The model is meant to commemorate the sale of 10,000 units of its smallest and most accessible ‘sportsbike’.

Mechanically identical to the standard G310 RR and G310 R sold in New Zealand and Australia, the Limited Edition distinguishes itself through its exclusive livery and detailing. The striking new graphics take clear inspiration from BMW’s flagship superbike, the S1000 RR, while special “1/310” badging signifies its limited-production status.

The fairing retains its distinctive “Champion’s Dome” design, which lends the bike a sharper, more aggressive stance. Gold USD forks, an aluminium swingarm, and Michelin Pilot Street tyres add both style and capability, while the Ram Air intake continues to optimise airflow for better engine cooling during spirited rides.
Beneath the familiar bodywork sits the tried-and-tested 312cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 33bhp at 9,700rpm and 20lb-ft of torque at 7,700rpm. It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, ensuring smooth, predictable shifts when braking hard or cornering aggressively.

Four selectable riding modes – Track, Urban, Sport, and Rain fine-tune throttle response and traction control to suit different conditions, all controlled through a ride-by-wire system. Inside the cockpit, a 5-inch TFT display delivers clear, vibrant visuals and customised layouts depending on the riding mode. Safety tech includes dual-channel ABS with rear-wheel lift-off protection, maintaining composure during sharp braking manoeuvres.
Available in two colour schemes, Cosmic Black and Polar White, the Limited Edition G310 RR is a fitting celebration of BMW Motorrad’s growing presence in the global small-capacity segment.
