- Announced in Australia
- Comes with new colours but same specs and features
- Likely to be launched in NZ soon
CFMoto has announced the launch of the 2026 450MT adventure bike in Australia. It is scheduled to arrive there by the end of January, and we expect it to make its way to New Zealand soon after.

For 2026, the popular adventure motorcycle receives a cosmetic update in the form of two new colours- Nebula Black and Zephyr Blue. While the blue was available earlier as well, the 2026 version gets a slight revision with graphics that are subtler.
The CFMoto 450MT has been quite a performer in New Zealand, taking the top-spot in the ADV category consistently since its launch. It has also managed to earn praise from the media, riders and the industry itself thanks to its approachable performance and off-road capability. That said, it also comes with a reasonable price tag. With the new colours, CFMoto have kept the recipe recognisable but with a slightly fresher appeal.

Importantly, the 2026 450MT retains the specification and features of the earlier model. To give you numbers, the CFMoto 450MT is powered by a 449cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that makes 44bhp at 8,500rpm and 44Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. This engine gets a 270-degree firing order and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
With the launch of competitors like the Moto Morini Allthrike 450 and the incoming BMW F450 GS, it will be interesting to see if the CFMoto 450MT manages to retain its top-spot in the segment this year too.
