New KTM 390 Duke revealed; gets minor update for 2026

  • Comes with new colour option
  • Remains mechanically unchanged
  • Could be launched in NZ market sometime this year

KTM has revealed the 2026 390 Duke for global markets, introducing a new Atlantic Blue colour option for the latest model year. The new shade joins the existing Gun Metal Grey paint scheme and gives the entry-level Duke a more refined visual update.

The Atlantic Blue variant adds a noticeably more premium look to the naked streetfighter. The tank extensions and fuel tank are finished in matte blue, replacing the grey finish seen on the previous version. KTM has also fitted a black front fender, while the alloy wheels now come finished in black instead of the brand’s trademark orange.

Beyond the cosmetic refresh, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 44.38bhp and 39Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. The feature list also carries over unchanged, including a TFT colour display with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple ride modes, cornering ABS, Launch Control, Supermoto ABS, and a full LED lighting setup.

With no mechanical updates for 2026, the new Atlantic Blue finish serves as the primary update for KTM’s popular middleweight naked. It could make its way to NZ sometime this year.
