Honda Rebel CMX1100 updated for 2026

  • Gets new colour options
  • Tweaks to the entire range’s features
  • To be introduced globally soon

Honda has revealed subtle updates to its 2026 CMX1100 Rebel cruiser range, introducing new colour options across two of its three variants.

The only model to retain its existing finish is the CMX1100T Rebel, which continues to be offered in Iridium Grey Metallic. Meanwhile, the standard CMX1100 Rebel now comes in a fresh Matt Beta Silver Metallic, while the Special Edition (SE) variant gains an exclusive Pearl Deep Mud Grey option.

Aside from these aesthetic updates, all three Rebels remain mechanically unchanged. Each continues to be powered by the familiar 1,084cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 87.2bhp at 7,250rpm. Originally launched in 2021, the CMX1100 Rebel underwent a comprehensive refresh in 2025. The Rebel T, introduced in 2023, built on that with added practicality, including panniers and a nose cowl, features that distinguish it from the standard model.

All versions can be equipped with Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) system. Updates from the previous year included a more ergonomic riding position and a new 5-inch TFT display offering Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity and a USB-C socket. The range also retains throttle-by-wire control, wheelie control, and three preset riding modes — Standard, Rain, and Sport, alongside two customisable User modes.

The Rebel SE remains the only model to feature bar-end mirrors, making it the first factory Honda motorcycle to adopt the setup outside of the MotoGP-derived RC213V-S. Other factory-fitted accessories include a colour-matched nose cowl, fork gaiters, and a short, sporty front mudguard.
