Royal Enfield has created much anticipation with the Himalayan 750. And the motorcycle has been spotted testing once again, this time in its road-biased, alloy wheel variant. The latest sighting offers the clearest look yet at the upcoming adventure tourer, and all signs point to it being nearly production-ready.
The test mule was equipped with a saree guard, a telltale indicator of final-stage testing for India. It also featured crash guards, a fuel tank cage, and what appears to be a remote preload adjuster for the rear suspension — with the adjustment knob clearly visible under the left side of the subframe. Unlike the spoke-wheeled version, this variant runs alloy wheels wrapped in road-oriented tyres with minimal tread, underlining its touring focus.
Spy shots continue to confirm a circular TFT instrument cluster offering Google Maps navigation and smartphone connectivity, marking a modern step forward for Royal Enfield’s adventure range. Beneath the bodywork lies an all-new frame and subframe, purpose-built to handle the upgraded powertrain.
At the core of the Himalayan 750 will be a 750cc parallel-twin engine, believed to be a bored-out evolution of the 648cc motor that powers Royal Enfield’s 650 range. Power figures are expected to climb beyond 50bhp and 60Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield is expected to unveil the Himalayan 750 at EICMA 2025 in Milan, with a market launch likely following soon after. When it arrives, the Himalayan 750 will take Royal Enfield’s adventure platform into a new displacement class, one aimed squarely at global mid-weight rivals while retaining the rugged DNA that made the Himalayan name iconic.
