- Updated Rocket 3 and Rocket 3 FT unveiled
- Come with new colours
- Could be launched in AUS and NZ soon
Triumph has taken the wraps off the 2026 Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT Storm for global markets. And the only new bits on the sports cruisers are new colour options for the updated model year.

The new Rocket 3 GT Storm gets a new Matt Sapphire Black and Satin Granite colour while the R Storm comes in Satin Baja Orange and Matt Sapphire Black. Both models continue with the older colour options as well. That said, the rest of the motorcycle- its engine, features and specs- remain unchanged.
Powering the Rocket 3 range is the mammoth 2500cc, inline-three cylinder engine that churns out 165bhp and a mouth-watering 221Nm of torque. Weighing in at 291kg, dry, the Triumph Rocket 3 rides on inverted forks and a monoshock setup from Showa with Brembo supplying braking power.

As for features, the Rocket 3 range offers a full-colour TFT display with Bluetooth-enabled smartphone connection. It also gets traction control, cornering ABS, hill-hold control and four riding modes- Rain, Road, Sport and Rider. Now, the only real differentiation between the R and GT is the purpose they aim to serve. While the R is a roadster, the GT is more of a cruiser and comes with a taller windscreen, forward-set footpegs and a pillion grab rail for more comfort than the R.
We can expect Triumph to introduce the new colours in New Zealand and Australia sometime this year.
