- Gets new colour schemes
- Continues with the same 1099cc engine
- No word about its AUS or NZ launch
Kawasaki has revealed an updated Versys 1100 lineup for international markets, with changes focused more on style than on major mechanical upgrades.
For 2026, the Versys 1100 S and SE get two new colour options: Metallic Deep Blue with Metallic Diablo Black, and Emerald Blazed Green with the same black contrast. The standard Versys 1100 doesn’t feature in this update, while the higher-spec trims continue with the performance and technology updates first introduced for 2025.

In terms of hardware, the Versys 1100 remains largely the same as last year’s revision, when Kawasaki increased the engine size from 1,043cc to 1,099cc. That update increased power from 120hp to 133hp, making the bike stronger for highway riding and long-distance overtaking, while also ensuring compliance with stricter emissions regulations.
The SE version still leads the range, featuring Showa’s electronically controlled suspension at both ends. This setup allows riders to easily adjust the suspension to different road conditions with the press of a button. Both the S and SE models retain their touring-focused equipment, including a bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control, and smartphone connectivity with voice command support, making long journeys more comfortable and practical.
Kawasaki is expected to launch the updated Versys 1100 in international markets soon and is likely to bring in the motorcycle to Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2025.
