- CBR650R gets two new colours
- CB650R comes with four colour options
- No changes to engine or features
Honda has unveiled a refreshed colour range for its CB650R and CBR650R models as part of the brand’s 2026 global line-up, bringing a visual update to its popular middleweight machines. While there are no mechanical or technological changes, the new paint schemes aim to keep the bikes looking sharp and desirable for riders across international markets.
For 2026, the CBR650R E-Clutch will be offered in two colourways, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic with yellow accents (updated for 2026) and the classic Grand Prix Red Tricolour.

The CB650R E-Clutch, meanwhile, gets the most extensive update with four colour options: Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic with Graphite Black Metallic accents (updated), Matte Jeans Blue Metallic with Graphite Black Metallic details (new), Candy Energy Orange with Graphite Black Metallic accents (new), Grand Prix Red with Graphite Black Metallic highlights (new)

These subtle yet dynamic additions give both models a modern, youthful edge, in line with Honda’s design language for its Neo Sports Café and Supersport lines. Underneath the fresh paint, both bikes continue to use the 649cc inline-four engine, known for its smooth power delivery and trademark high-revving exhaust note. The key highlight remains Honda’s E-Clutch system, first introduced in 2024. The semi-automatic technology allows riders to shift gears without using the clutch lever, offering a perfect balance between convenience in city traffic and control on twisty roads.
Honda is expected to globally launch the new colour options in the coming months with an announcement for New Zealand and Australia soon!
