Triumph Motorcycles have announced the unveiling date for their new 2018 Speedmaster.

The unveiling is set to take place on October 3rd at 7.30pm British Standard Time (7.30am October 4 for us), with few specific details confirmed at the time of writing.

The Speedmaster has been a part of the Triumph lineup since 2002, but the stylish low-slung machine has not seen a major update since the move to fuel injection in 2008. That’s all about to chance when the new model is officially unveiled in two weeks time.

What we do know is the 2018 Speedmaster is likely to follow the same foot-forward riding position of its predecessors, as spy shots out of the UK have indicated.

It will also benefit from Triumph’s new generation of water-cooled High-Torque powerplants, with the same unit as found in the 2017 Triumph Bonneville T120 and Bonneville Bobber likely to be the heart of choice for Triumph’s American style cruiser.

We can’t wait to get our hands on the bike when it arrives in New Zealand, as the new generation of Triumph’s have seriously impressed BRM’s test team.

Stay tuned for more info on October 4 when all the details on the 2018 Triumph Speedmaster are officially released.
