Europe dominates in Masterbike

super-shootout

The annual Masterbike test conducted by an international group of motorcycle journalists assembled in Spain has been completed. All nine production superbikes from Japan and Europe, including 1000cc fours and 1200cc v-twins, were thoroughly tested at the same track.

First and second place, respectively, went to the new BMW S1000RR and the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. With third place going to the MV Agusta F4. The Japanese superbikes were swept aside by these stunning European marvels, a result which BRM can't disagree with at all.

We do however hope that this rise in quality, performance, technology and overall competitiveness from the European manufacturers will lead to a greater effort by the Japanese to once again outdo the Euro bikes.
